An ambitious Master Plan has been set in motion to revitalize the Summer Camp campus, adding opportunities to use this valued resource in meaningful new ways.
This Master Plan features a new year-round building that will allow underprivileged kids from throughout NYS the opportunity to enjoy camp life in an upgraded building, while providing space for a wellness center for first responders. A place of hope and healing.
This 8000 sq ft building represents the most important capital improvement project undertaken in the history of Summer Camp. September through May, first responders will have a safe place to access health and education wellness programs- in a unique nature-based environment, to help them meet the demands of protecting our communities. June through August will continue the extraordinary Summer Camp program that has positively impacted the lives of thousands of children since 1977.
